This weekend mini-camp is geared towards advanced beginner and intermediate adult string players (fiddle, viola, cello). Other melody and accompaniment instrumentalists interested in Celtic music and ensemble playing are welcome to join. Ellen and I will be co-leading the workshops, with topics and scheduling adapted to fit the group.

Topics include:
• Learning traditional and contemporary Scottish and Irish tunes
• Ornamentation and bowing
• Harmony and accompaniment ideas
• Playing with others
• Step Dance (offered as an elective if there's enough interest)
