Wind Rose Update Pt. 2

This summer, my band and I headed into Woodshop Recording Studio on Vancouver Island to begin recording a new album, Wind Rose!

This album features 12 tracks of original, traditional and contemporary tunes & songs, inspired by home and exploration. I'm delighted to be joined by exceptional BC-based musicians, Adam Dobres (guitar), Erik Musseau (whistle, vocals), Lauri Lyster (percussion), Boris Favre (bass), and my wonderful parents, Joel Pettit and Siew Wan Khoo.

It was so exciting to jump into phase 2 of recording this week, with a fabulous team of collaborators I met in Scotland — Ellen Gira (cello), Chris Gray (piano, whistle), Ali Hutton (guitar), and Martin O’Neill (bodhran)!

Cet été, mon groupe et moi sommes allés dans un studio sur l'île de Vancouver pour commencer à enregistrer un nouvel album, Wind Rose! Cet album comprend 12 titres originaux et traditionnels. Je suis ravie d'être rejointe par de fabuleux musiciens en Colombie-Britannique, ainsi que des collaborateurs exceptionnels que j'ai rencontrés en Écosse!
